Microsoft has presented ApocZ as the Indie Game for the "Best of Zombie Games" section on the Xbox Dashboard!
Although Microsoft has been iffy on supporting Indies recently with their ID@Xbox program to where they've revealed games that will be released, but haven't given very concrete information on the subject, at least letting us know that progress is being made, but there's not much to be excited about as of yet... Unless you like looking at the gameplay and screenshots of the games without knowing release dates for them... Then the hype train is all yours! tongue
However they occasionally place Indies with their own unique section on the front page of the "Games" tab on the Xbox Dashboard, and they've chosen ApocZ for this month, calling it, and the other games selected "Grave Games", due to their zombie nature... Yes, the pun isn't very good, but oh well! tongue
In addition, since ApocZ was released (March 25th, 2014), it has been the top downloaded Indie Game everyday since, and has been climbing the "Best selling all-time" charts very fast as it's (as I'm typing this) sitting at the 23rd most downloaded game of all time, being the only game released in 2014 that's in the top 100! That's insane!
If you downloaded the game, (especially if you decided to spend the dollar on ApocZ rather than the dollar drinks at McDonald's... Those drinks are irresistible... So icy, and deliciou... Sorry, back to ApocZ!) you contributed towards those statistics, and that alone is very much appreciated. I'm not a developer, nor apart of SickKreations, but just from a gamer standpoint, seeing the game rise and get as much attention as it has been, is truly incredible!
Thanks to everyone for the support, and the community for being awesome and well... creating a community! smile
Also thanks to SickKreations' for creating this marvelous game. "One Game, One Man, One Dollar!"... That one man is Kevin, the person who developed the game. tongue
